Frequently asked questions

Which driving licences do these quizzes cover?

The courses cover Italy’s AM licence for mopeds, A licence for motorcycles and B licence for cars. AM has its own question bank, separate from the A/B bank. Choose the category you want to study.

Are the translations official?

No. The translations and explanations help you study; they are not official translations of the exam. The Italian text remains the reference.

Can I study in Italian only?

Yes. Turn off the support language to study the questions and explanations in Italian only.

What is the difference between practice and a mock exam?

Practice lets you tackle one question at a time and read its explanation. A mock exam brings several questions together in a timed session; you can review your mistakes at the end.

Does the translation correct false statements?

No. Even a false statement must keep the same meaning in translation: you choose True or False. The explanation then clarifies the answer.

How can I learn the Italian words used in the driving test?

Read the question in Italian first, compare it with the translation, then read it again without help. Pay attention to words such as “precedenza” (right of way), “carreggiata” (carriageway) and “sorpasso” (overtaking), as well as negatives such as “non” (not) and “mai” (never).

How much does it cost to study with Quiz Patente per Tutti?

The app is free. You can practise and take mock exams without buying a subscription.

Are bilingual quizzes useful if I already speak Italian?

Yes. You can study in Italian only or display another language alongside it to compare words and expressions. The questions always focus on the Italian driving licence.
